Mobile Ophthalmological Care - Free for Military and Civilian Populations in Frontline Areas
Conducted 6 missions in 18 towns of Donetsk region and Kharkiv region, examined 2470 patients, of which 1491 were military personnel, researched various injuries, complaints, diagnostic methods, and treatments in (almost) field conditions. During ophthalmological examinations, we provide treatment recommendations, issue medicines and glasses to military personnel

FOR WHOM
During our ophthalmological trips, we help military personnel who cannot leave their posts in the front-line areas for long periods to visit a medical center for eye diagnostics, receive treatment recommendations, necessary medications, or glasses.
We also provide eye diagnostics for the local population who are unable to travel for examinations.
WHAT IS #МОС
This is free mobile ophthalmological care - assistance for military and civilians in the format of regular field missions to frontline territories. Professional doctors of the ophthalmological medical centers "New Vision" and "Exmer" carry out examinations of patients while staying in regions where there is a problem with access to quality medicine
Each ophthalmology mission costs approximately 100,000 UAH. This includes expenses for:
- fuel,
- rental of transportation to carry the team and 20 boxes of equipment, consumables, a generator, and other necessary items,
- purchase of consumables (needed for patient examinations),
- purchase of medications and glasses that we provide on-site,
- payment for the work of doctors, a driver, and an operator,
- meals and accommodation, as it's not always possible to arrange these for free.

Provide the highest possible professional assistance where it is needed, preserve vision, comfort of life, and the quality of task performance
HOW TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
The approximate cost of one team trip for 9 days to the front-line territories is around $2500. You can contribute financially to the project in order to partially or fully cover the costs of the project/outing, help with transport, fuel, become a project volunteer, spread information about it in the media, etc.
The foundation team is also looking for permanent partnerships with representatives of business, local authorities, charities and smaller organizations to ensure the regular operation of the #MOС project
